A community safety survey has been launched by the Safer Slough Partnership and is running until 16 January. Hearing from residents will help the partnership understand the impact of crime, anti-social behaviour, and drug/alcohol issues where you live and work, to learn about your experience reporting crimes, and measure how safe you feel in Slough. Councillor Ejaz Ahmed, lead member for communities, sport, leisure and public protection, said: “This annual survey gives the partnership a chance to hear local concerns and priorities, and see where work could be targeted. “I would encourage people of all ages to take part to share their views. It only takes 10 minutes to complete, and there are prizes to be won.” Completing the survey enters you into a prize draw, and you could win a £75 meal voucher, family tickets to Slough Town Football Club, Everyone Active vouchers for bowling or ice skating, LEGO sets, and more. The Safer Slough Partnership (SSP) is Slough's community safety partnership, which seeks to reduce crime, anti-social behaviour, and the fear of crime. It is made up of Slough Borough Council, Thames Valley Police, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Youth Offending Team, Slough Children First, Slough Business Community Partnership, Slough Safeguarding Partnership, Slough Council Voluntary Services, Police and Crime Commissioner, and the National Probation Service. The survey can also be found on the consultation page of the council's website. If you require a hard copy of the survey, please contact communitysafety1@slough.gov.uk | ||
