Appeal for information after a burglary – Buckingham Park

A recent burglary has been reported in the Buckingham Park area of Aylesbury.

Between 5pm and 6:45pm on Sunday (5/11) offender(s) smashed a rear patio window of a property on Nugent Close. They then reached in and unlocked the patio doors, using the key that had been left in the lock.

Two bedrooms were searched and jewellery stolen.

Please remain vigilant and make sure anyone suspicious is reported to the police, on 101, or 999 in an emergency.

Don’t leave keys in locks, where they can be easily reached and consider using lights on timer switches to make it look like someone is home when you are out.

Please visit Thames Valley Police for more crime prevention advice and information.

Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, from Aylesbury Police Station, is investigating this burglary. If you have any information that might help him please call on 101, quoting reference number 43170329375.

If you don’t want to speak to the police or give your details you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or report it online.
