Information sent on behalf of Slough Council

Still struggling to get into the festive spirit? Join us for two days of festive fun in the town centre and you’ll be all set to deck the halls!

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December
10am-5pm (Saturday) and 10am-4pm (Sunday)
Town Square, High Street, Slough

Families can enjoy free land train rides up and down the high street and children will be enchanted by Santa’s animals (no reindeer this year as they’re having a rest!).

A balloon modeller will be creating festive treats and a glitter tattooist will be on duty, transforming children into Santa’s cheeky little elves and snowy princesses.

Browse our beautiful arts and crafts stalls to find the perfect seasonal gift. You can’t miss our spectacular chainsaw carver who will be putting on a show under our 45ft Christmas tree. You can purchase some of his stunning creations to take home with you too.

The fun doesn’t stop there! We’ve pulled out all the stops to find the most entertaining, over the top, Christmas loving street performers on offer. Our tap dancing turkeys will be strutting up and down the high street at 11.15am, 1.15pm and 15.15pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Keep an eye out for those crazy Christmas birds!

Councillor Natasa Pantelic, cabinet member for health and adult social care, said: “Festive fun is one of the council’s most popular events of the year, and a great way to celebrate the festive season.

“We’ll have a range of activities for everyone to get involved with in the town centre and it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up a unique last minute Christmas present or two.

“I can’t wait to see our tap dancing turkeys dancing up a storm and invite everyone to come and enjoy the fun!”

Festive fun visitors can park for free all day on Sunday 16 December in Hatfield car park, Hatfield Road, Slough SL1 1NB.
