Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Bullbrook, Bracknell.
Between Saturday 16 February and Saturday 2 March 2019 offenders gained entry to an end terrace house in Bay Road, Bracknell.
The offenders managed to get to the rear of the property via an insecure side gate, and then by using a tool from the garden shed they forced the rear UPVC patio doors causing the glass to shatter. Once inside the offenders made an untidy search of all rooms.
Investigator  C7224 Vicky Burgess of the Crime Investigation Hub based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have security CCTV recordings or other information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43190065229.
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.
At this time of year burglars like easy targets such as homes that are left in total darkness in the early evenings. You can reduce the risk of them targeting your home when you’re not in by using a simple timer switch to turn a lamp or two on as it gets dark.
