Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Bracknell.

At 4.50pm on Saturday 1 June the resident of a detached house on London Road, opposite Lily Hill Park, disturbed two men who had broken into their house.
As the victim drove onto their driveway the offenders were seen jumping out of windows and running off. The offenders were pursued for a short distance along London Road and seen to turn onto the woodland walking path through Scott’s Hill copse (towards Drovers Way and Calfridus Way).
The offenders had used a bladed tool to force open a rear window of the victim’s home, and made an untidy search stealing various items including jewellery.
Both offenders are described as been tall slim white European males aged in their late teens. One was wearing a lightweight light grey coloured jacket, grey trousers and a baseball cap, the other who had dark wavy hair was wearing a Royal blue coloured Polo shirt with white motifs on the front and right sleeve, jeans.
Burglary Investigator C8686 Kerry Neal of the Crime Investigation Hub based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information including any CCTV recording in the local area to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting crime reference 43190164595.
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.

Offenders try to avoid been seen so aim for concealed doors or windows. You can do a lot to reduce the risk of your home been targeted by ensuring that side gates are kept locked shut.
