Appeal for Witnesses to an assault in Reading

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Brunswick Street, Reading. 

The incident occurred on Saturday 01/05 between 8.30pm -9pm the victim, a 17 year old girl, was seen in the street when she was assaulted by a man and thankfully she didn’t receive any injuries . The victim was taken to hospital and later discharged.

Investigating Officer, DC Sian Lewis based at Newbury Police Station, said:

"I am appealing for anyone who has any information about this incident and hasn’t already spoken to officers to come forward. Additionally, if anybody has CCTV or doorbell cameras please check them.  Please contact us by reporting online via our website or calling 101 quoting 43210186290.

Note to Editors:  A 20-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of Actual Bodily Harm and has been released on bail.
