Appeal for witnesses following incident of assault and criminal damage in Little Bury

At around 3.40am on Wednesday (19/5) a taxi was called to a property in Little Bury.

When the driver arrived, four people approached the taxi and an altercation occurred between two of them. This resulted in one of the group sustaining injuries and damage to his property.

The victim, a 63-year-old man, received treatment at hospital for his injuries and has since been discharged.

A 19-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on police bail.
