Community Engagement Event

 Wednesday 8th September - 7-9pm

at the Community Room, Ascot Durning Library, High St, Ascot SL5 7JF



TVP and Windsor & Ascot NHW Association, working with our partners and volunteers, have organised an evening for residents to learn about the work that our partners and volunteers do in the community. 
There will be time allocated for questions from residents.


First of its kind since Covid restrictions have been lifted, the evening promises an agenda that will be of huge interest to residents. You will hear from:


Thames Valley Police - Jeff Pick - Welcome and information on Home Security Surveys, Crime Prevention and an update on Community SpeedWatch

RBWM Trading Standards - Trading Standards Officer Honor Ryan will speak on trading scams and what to look out for, she will also demonstrate the TrueCall telephone call blocker

RBWM Community Wardens - Warden Peter Murkin will elaborate on their role in keeping our communities safe and our towns and villages a pleasant place to live in by exercising the powers they have such as PSPOs (Public Space Protection Orders).

W&A NHW Association volunteer IT guru, Mr Guy Ratcliffe
on Video doorbells and Internet Security. 

Ascot NAG (Neighbourhood Action Group) - Cllr David Hilton will touch on the group's focus and role in the local community

Resident Mrs Jane Levers on her personal experience with a courier fraud
