Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Cholsey.

At around 9.30pm on Sunday 3 May the victim, an 18-year-old man, was in his car in the car park behind the barbers on Ilges Lane. Whilst sat in his car he noticed a small silver car enter the car park and park in the middle of it, meaning that he would be unable to drive out.

The victim got out of his car and walked towards Tesco when he saw a man get out of the front passenger side of the silver car. The man approached him and asked him to hand over items he had in his pockets. Another man then got out of the back of the car holding a black bag with an item in it, possibly a firearm.

He approached them and whilst holding the bag made threats towards the victim and demanded that he hand over his items. The victim did so and the men also took his phone from the passenger seat of his car and kicked it into a nearby garden.

The offenders got back into the silver car and left in the direction of the main roundabout.

No one was injured during this incident. A amount of cash was stolen.

The first offender is described as a fat man with dark skin, aged in his early twenties who is approximately 6ft 5ins tall. He was wearing a black zip up hooded jacket with the hood up and a white t-shirt underneath and dark-coloured trousers.

The second offender is described as a skinny man with dark skin, aged in his early twenties who is approximately 5ft 11ins tall. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up and black-coloured trousers.

The car is described as a silver 5-door hatchback, similar to an old-style Renault Clio.
