Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery near Alfred Rose Park

At around 7pm on Saturday (5/12) two teenage boys were walking along Fairfax Crescent towards Alfred Rose Park when they were approached by another two teenage boys. One was riding a bicycle.

The boy on the bike got off, approached one of the boys and asked them to hand over his items. He then punched the victim in the face a number of times.

The victim then ran into Alfred Rose Park to get away.

The victim received treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital for swelling to his face and cuts to his lips. He has since been discharged.

The first offender with the bicycle, is described as an averagely built 14-16-year-old boy who is approximately 6ft tall. He was wearing a silver puffer-jacket with the hood up and a face covering. He spoke with a Pakistani accent. He was riding a mountain-style bike.

The second offender is described as approximately 5ft 6ins tall and of an average build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up and a face covering.
