The Month of Community and Next Steps for NHW

Alert message sent 01/06/2021 23:59:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear colleagues,

If you subscribe to our monthly newsletter you will have read that June is the Month of Community, where good causes, volunteers, carers and many more come together to celebrate the summer and what we have achieved over the past 12 months during a very challenging period.

If you missed the newsletter you can read it here.

NHW June Newsletter

There are also events and activities throughout the month that you may like to take part in.

The theme this week is Volunteers week, and Neighbourhood Watch week starts on the 5th June.

We are all volunteers in NHW, doing our bit to make our communities safer from crime, so please let’s raise a glass or a cup of tea and toast to each other!

Also there are some new NHW initiatives launching to increase our effectiveness and broaden our support to cover more crime types. “Protect Your Pooch” is one of them.

Look out for further announcements in the near future.

It's my view that we work best by sharing ideas and team work, so please send me your thoughts and suggestions about ways in which NHW can help support our local communities.

I look forward to working with you over the next 12 months, as Neighbourhood Watch grows and evolves.

Best wishes,

Paul Adkins
