Appeal for witnesses following burglaries in Wokingham

Between 4.05pm and 8.15pm on Saturday (2/10) the patio doors of a house in Finchampstead Road were forced open.

On the same evening between 6.15pm and 00.15am, an upstairs window was forced open on a house in Holmes Crescent.

An amount of family gold was stolen from both houses.

Investigating officer PC Wasim Akram, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone in and around Finchampstead Road and Holmes Crescent who saw or heard anything suspicious on Saturday evening to come forward. I am also keen to hear from anyone in these areas who has CCTV or a doorbell camera as you may have captured something that could help with this investigation.
