Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

New Years' Resolution -
Many of you receive Neighbourhood Watch information but are not members of Neighbourhood Watch in Oxford. We need Coordinators to set up schemes which has been made easier now there is online registration. This will give you full access to the Neighbourhood Watch website and the new Knowledge Hub available to Coordinators and to discounts to share with your members. It really takes little time and you can have road signs and stickers that have been proven to deter crime. Groups, including whats app and residents' association can nominate a Coordinator that can share local crime information and can be given specific crime prevention for the issues in your area. Each Coordinator has a direct contact with their local PCSO to collaborate.
There have been many groups that have evolved since the pandemic but there is one main organisation that is trusted as a local community initiative under the umbrella of a national organisation with membership of 2.3million + and the largest voluntary organisation for crime prevention in England and Wales-
Neighbourhood Watch
Please consider joining Neighbourhood Watch in Oxford - we need members and Coordinators to share local information, this takes little time and commitment. However, you can do more if you want to be more active in your neighbourhood- these are the reasons why you and other residents belong to schemes. Joining social media groups gives more general information only so please join on www.ourwatch.org.uk or message me with any queries.
